Halloween Costume Idea? Marilyn Monroe but DARK?

I have a black halter dress almost identical to Marilyn's classic white dress and I have dark hair. I was thinking to put a twist on a classic costume – by being Marilyn – but opposite of the norm! Is this an original idea that would be okay for halloween or is this just stupid?
